Now that you have your personal account, you are ready to Cloud enable your machine. There are 2 methods to do so:
- Use our hardware solution, the CloudVPN router, to separate the machine from the company network and expand the entire machine with CloudVPN's features.
- Use our software-only solution, the CloudVPN Agent, to integrate directly into your machine's hardware and expand that specific component with CloudVPN's features.
The CloudVPN router
As mentioned, the CloudVPN router separates the machine from the company network and enables you to remotely access every machine component that you connect to it. More information about the CloudVPN router can be found here.
Depending on which CloudVPN router model you have, you can:
- Connect your CloudVPN router to the CloudVPN Portal via a wired connection
- Connect your CloudVPN router to the CloudVPN Portal via a wireless connection
- Connect your CloudVPN router to the CloudVPN Portal via a cellular connection

Note that you can later change the primary connection type (wired, wireless, cellular) and even add the unused connection types as a backup connection, using failover.
