If you want to connect to your machine just like you would if you would be on-site, using your development or perhaps other software, then you'll need to establish a VPN connection to your device (CloudVPN router / CloudVPN Agent) first:
If you are unable to establish a VPN connection, please consult Troubleshooting - unable to establish a VPN connection.

I want to connect to my machine's HTTP or VNC server

If you are unable to access the HTTP/VNC server using an HTTP/VNC service, please consult Troubleshooting - the HTTP/VNC service is not working.
I want to collect data from my machine
You can automatically log data from your machine into the CloudVPN Portal. Once data is logged, you can visualize it in components on custom pages, using the readily available components or by creating your own component. Also, using our API, you can access the logged data and use it in any custom or 3rd party system.
Configuring Cloud Logging is split into the following 4 steps:
- Activate or try Cloud Logging 30 days for free
- Set up a data source
- Log your data
- Visualize or export your data
If you are looking to use the data in a custom or 3rd party system, you can use our API to get the logged data from our server. Request for our API documentation for more detailed information.
I want to be notified about important machine events
You can receive an e-mail or push notification when a certain machine event happens. For example, when a temperature rises too high, an emergency stop has occurred, product has ran out, or a set amount of operating hours have passed and it's necessary to schedule a maintenance appointment. The details of the machine event(s) are yours to choose and you can configure unlimited alarms.
Configuring Cloud Notify is split into the following 4 steps:
- Activate or try Cloud Notify 30 days for free
- Set up a data source
- Set up alarms
- Notifications
In addition to CloudVPN's built-in e-mail and push notifications, you can expand your options further by setting up a webhook link to a 3rd party service (e.g. SIGNL4 or PagerDuty).

To make sure that only the necessary people have access to a page, you can use access categories:
